• Gamification: There might be the idea of a ‘fund a cashflow‘ system, for non-member enthusiasts. It might be a bit similar to game coins. You can only spend them on certain controlled things. You’d get a wallet linked to a cashflow. Every month, or whenever your balance gets low, your credit card gets charged to refill the wallet, and you can watch the cashflow eat into the balance.
    • Other than funding the cashflow, what could you do with the credits?
    • Various departments could put out asks for funding and for reasons. When enough funds have been dedicated to the cause, the work for that cause gets done. For example:
      • The software department wants to build software for the public PA/audio channels system. It’ll require a cashflow of X to fund.
      • The design department want to design workstations integrated into/nearby playgrounds, for parents. They need a cashflow of X to make it happen.
    • People can pledge micro cashflows of the same situation, and when they add up to the full cashflow, they all get kicked off. When the work is done, the result is dedicated to the contributors.
  • For members who have joined the arco, we can run a gig-work system, where work items are posted, and those who are qualified can do them in exchange for payouts upon completion. They can then use those credits to fund the early tranches of the development charges.
    • This lets people contribute in money or in sweat equity.
